Get into the summer groove with the Beauty & Wellness Tour
Helping women find “ME” moments in their hectic days

May-June 2008 — Women interested in improving their look and confidence this summer are invited to their local Wal-Mart Canada store for the arrival of the Beauty & Wellness Tour, the ideal opportunity to obtain personalized beauty advice from trained consultants. This year’s Tour has 200 events in Wal-Mart Canada stores across the country. For a complete list, please see www.pgcanada.ca.

Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman, style experts and Procter & Gamble program spokespersons, encourage women to take some time for themselves and visit the special in-store kiosk. Women will have the chance to meet with beauty advisors who will draw up a “prescription beauty card” specifically tailored to their hair and skin types and beauty needs. Visitors will also get to touch, smell and sample featured products from popular brands such as Clairol, CoverGirl, Venus Embrace and Olay among others, while obtaining recommendations and tips from advisors.

Customers will receive an informative booklet with a plethora of beauty tips ranging from advice on hairstyling and haircolouring, to dental and skin care. They will also be able to take advantage of the special Tour promotion that rewards them with a $10 Wal-Mart gift card mailed to them when they purchase $25 worth of participating products.

“It’s important to encourage women to spend time on themselves,” said Steven Sabados. “We find that too many women overlook their own needs. Hopefully the gift card will allow them to treat themselves.”

The Beauty and Wellness Tour is designed to help women find these few “ME” moments in a day, where they can pamper themselves and embark on a voyage of self-discovery that awakens them to an array of possibilities to enhance their beauty and wellness.

“ ‘ME’ moments are hard to come by and – at the same time – so deserved,” said Chris Hyndman. “The Tour will help women find quick and easy ways to modify their daily routine, with simple changes that can make all the difference.”

Thinking of sporting a bright, breezy and summery look? Maybe changing your haircolour to match your upbeat mood now that the warm weather has arrived? Quite often, just spending a few moments getting the proper information, seeking out the opinion of knowledgeable consultants and finding the right products can make a dramatic difference in how you look and feel.
